Clark & Deveau:
May PEEP will be all about celebrating our favorite songs and stories from the entire PEEP year. We will begin with a week that is dedicated to the song: “The Floor is Lava”. Throughout the week we will be listening to the song, figuring out how to get from one end of class to the other while NEVER touching the floor! Our STEM project will be building bridges that will help our toys travel over lava too.
Week two will be dedicated to “Sit down, Stand up” and we will be doing a great deal of jumping, sitting, and standing during large motor times. We will take our up and down concepts a bit further as we explore gravity during our science times and use the concepts of up and down to create pictures at the end of the week.
These are just a couple of examples of the fun we will be having as we review our favorite activities from our PEEP year.
Storie:
It is hard to believe we are winding up the year. It has been a great year in PEEP. This month in PEEP we will revisit a few of our favorite activities from the year and explore some new fun activities.
On Science Mondays we will discuss oviparous animals (those that hatch from eggs),do an activity/experiment to understand the pollination process and explore the science of bubbles.
On Gross Motor Wednesdays we will have some fun with balloons, play one of our favorite bean bag games, and play a color square game.
On STEAM Fridays our activities will be tied to a story. We will create a monster, find a special rock and create a pet rock, make a sharpie pen science/art creation and have a fun last day with bubbles.

Taylor and Murphy:
I am so excited about what we have coming up this month for Peep! Keep in mind Monday is science focus and Wednesday is focused on large motor skills. I have taken these science and motor ideas and have become so excited with our opportunities!
Week 1: We will be doing an awesome game of Jumping Lines. On Wednesday we will be playing the Floor is Lava!
Week 2: We will be making Lava Lamps and playing Musical Chairs this week!
Week 3: We will be creating snow on Monday. Then on Wednesday we will create an obstacle course outside to get our wiggles out!
Week 4: On Monday we will be Ice Cube painting and then on Wednesday we will be doing Yoga.
