Happy Friday Pre-K families!

We started our week with a great Valentine’s Day celebration. The children loved celebrating each other and how we are ALL friends!! They were adorable to watch as each child went around to deliver their valentines.

Our projects this week have been very focused on zebras and lions. We made Marbled Zebra collages. The marbling process helps us see that even though zebras look very similar in their markings, each zebra actually has a very unique stripe pattern that makes them very special. This process also helped us to see that camouflaging in the markings helps protect the zebras from predators. We also practiced our cutting skills as we painted and snipped to make lion crafts.

This week’s focus letter has been the letter Kk. We have formed the letter with our sticks, with our bodies, and with play dough.

This week our sensory table was filled with pipe cleaners, beads, plastic hearts and confetti.
Some important dates to keep in mind:

3/14 – Co-oping begins!!!

*Families, we are so excited to have you come back to the classrooms. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions you may have now. I will gather questions and answers and send out information as we get closer to 3/14
